Completing this ACCA Applied Skills qualification typically takes 12-18 months.

To enter the ACCA Applied Skills level, you generally need to have completed the ACCA Applied Knowledge level, the final level of AAT, or the Foundation Diploma. Alternatively, you can enter with a degree that grants exemptions from the Applied Knowledge level, such as an accounting or business degree. A good level of English is also a key requirement.

The ACCA qualification is considered equivalent to a master’s degree due to its advanced level of technical knowledge, professional skills and rigorous assessments.
You can start your journey with ACCA based on UK qualifications including two A-Levels and three GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths. If you have a recognised and relevant finance or accounting qualification you may not have to take all the exams on your journey to membership and you can claim for exemptions.
